What if a resident needs to go to the emergency room (E.R.)?
A companion will accompany our resident during an emergency room visit. It makes E.R. visits less overwhelming for the resident and family at no additional costs.

What if a resident is admitted to the hospital?
When a resident is admitted to the hospital for a longer period of time, a companion is able to accompany part or all of the time if resident and/or family find it beneficial. This service is not included and will cost an additional $15 per hour. Often, the hospital will also be able to provide a sitter.

What if a resident has medical appointments?
A companion will accompany and drive our residents to and from appointments at no additional costs.

What are your visiting hours?
Residents appreciate company more than we often realize. Family and friends are encouraged to visit often and at anytime.

Are children welcome?
Yes! Bethesda Ranch is a place for all ages to have fun. We have pizza night on Friday, game night on Saturday. We have woods and a big yard to play in, as well as toys inside the care home. Children are always welcome and the residents love the interaction.

Does Bethesda Ranch provide transportation to special events, such as family parties, weddings, and funerals?
A companion will be able to transport and accompany our residents during such events at no additional costs.

Do you take your residents on outings?
Every Tuesday and Thursday, able residents go out to lunch. We leave around noon and come back around 3:00 p.m. We encourage family and friends to join us for these outings. All meals are included for residents as well as their guests.
Is Bethesda Ranch a licensed nursing facility?
No, Bethesda Ranch is a licensed adult family home.
